Our Christmas Junk

My mom gave me a beautiful Christmas box several years ago.

For a few years after that, I used it to help store our Christmas ornaments, but eventually, it became the place where I put all that Christmas "junk."

The Christmas-themed stocking stuffers, Pez dispensers, pencils, pens, snowmen-shaped erasers and bouncy balls, etc. all go here, and this collection grows every December with Sunday school prizes and co-op Christmas parties.

Now I'll actually buy Christmas activity or coloring books to add to the box, knowing there's a place for them to go and a season when they can be enjoyed.

This box gets closed up and put away with the other Christmas decorations, so it is rediscovered every December and enjoyed anew.
