I used the free pass from the library again and took the kids to the Beardsley Zoo today.

We stopped by the greenhouse again.

Norah was really excited over the fact that Native Americans used wolves coats to sneak up on buffalo. The buffalo weren't scared of them, so it gave the Indians a means to get close enough to strike.

This tree had the coolest seed pods. We will have to find out what it is.

These Guinea Fowl are allowed to roam around the zoo openly.

We watched birds bathing for about ten minutes. They didn't seem to notice we were even there. It was magical.

The weather was much cooler than last month, so the prairie dogs were all out of their holes and very active.

Norah rode the carousel.

Norah went through the maze.

This time, Norah ate her own rock candy.
