As we walked by this open field, we saw at least a dozen butterflies hovering over the tops of the wild grass. At first, they would appear to be flowers, but when you tried to focus on them, they'd alight into the air and dance over to another stalk of grass, sometimes passing other butterflies in mid air, always swirling their colors up and down and all over the field. I'll never forget the effect they made on the scene in front of my eyes and now I'm convinced that God made butterflies as a way of inventing flowers that "float."
