The boot can come off today, officially. But, I am not sure I am ready to be alone with my legs. I've walked without the boot from the bed to the bathroom and back the last two nights and it hurts... bad. And it takes forever. The doctor says to keep my steps short, expect two more weeks of pain, but after that, I could probably start walking again, as in, for exercise. We will see.
